As a millennial woman who has overcome challenges and adversity, in my life, education and career, I am passionate about providing high- and middle school girls the clarity they need to pursue colleges and careers based on passion and purpose.
Coming out of high school, I was under-educated on goals and expectations, so I found myself transferring from college to college. It took me six years to complete my undergraduate studies. Ultimately, I found myself working in an unfulfilling career. I re-enrolled in college and graduated with a Master of Business Administration, with a focus in Leadership Development. It was during that time that I discovered my passion to empower high- and middle-school students to become leaders.
I am now on a mission to use my firsthand experience and background in leadership development and entrepreneurship, to educate high- and middle-school students, so they can make the best choice for themselves NOW.
Building Opportunities for Student Success (BOSS) Leadership Program
WHAT IS THE B.O.S.S. LEADERSHIP PROGRAM?
The B.O.S.S. Leadership Program is a multiple-focus programs, designed to support the future success of high school students. The program consists of a leadership and entrepreneurship/business [learn by doing] strand, led by experts in leadership and business. We provide homework help, college and career readiness sessions and mentorship, with the goal of eliminating achievement disparities, increasing school attendance and academic success for all students, jumpstarting young minds and teaching students how to become leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers.
Any student interested in developing their leadership and entrepreneurship potential can benefit from this program. With content and support from the B.O.S.S. Leadership Program, students will learn valuable skills to propel them forward in the dynamic world of leadership.
Leadership is the leverage.
