INVESTING IN HIGH SCHOOL MENTORING AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

LEARN TODAY. SUCCEED TOMORROW.

As a millennial woman who has overcome challenges and adversity, in my life, education and career, I am passionate about providing high school girls the clarity they need to pursue colleges and careers based on passion and purpose. Coming out of high school, I was under-educated on goals and expectations, so I found myself transferring from school to school.

It took me six years to complete my undergraduate studies. Ultimately, I found myself working in an unfulfilling career. I re-enrolled in school and graduated with a Master of Business Administration, with a focus in Leadership Development. It was during that time that I discovered my passion to empower high school girls to become leaders. I am now on a mission to use my firsthand experience and background in leadership development, to educate high school girls so they can make the best choice for themselves.

Building Opportunities for Student Success (BOSS) Leadership Program

WHAT'S THE BOSS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM?

The BOSS Leadership Program is a high school-to-college-to-career leadership development program designed to support the future success of high school girls. Any female student interested in developing her leadership potential can benefit from this program. The BOSS Leadership Program provides life skills workshops and presentations on leadership, social and career development and college preparation and it gives high school girls the opportunity to connect online with me and receive advice. During the workshops, girls learn how to identify their unique strengths and discover their leadership style. Girls graduate from the workshop with their own personal affirmation of pursuit for confidently taking on leadership.

"IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL, IT IS BECAUSE SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME, SOMEONE GAVE YOU A LIFE OR AN IDEA THAT STARTED YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. REMEMBER ALSO THAT YOU ARE INDEBTED TO LIFE UNTIL YOU HELP SOMEONE JUST AS YOU WERE HELPED."
