![ð£#ShawnaSaid: If you keep setting the same goal year-after-year, but arenât seeing the results you want, itâs either because 1ïžâ£ you donât want it bad enough, or 2ïžâ£ you donât plan the steps you need to take to get there.
Iâm going to assume #2ïžâ£âŠ not having an action plan, is your problem.
If thatâs the case, you have to stop focusing on the end destination and start considering what it takes to get there.
I challenge you to go further than just setting your next goal and saying what you want to doâŠ
Take that goal and come up with a GAME PLAN by breaking it down into smaller steps with milestones + deadlines.
Every step you take should lead to the next step until you reach your goal.
Whether you want to start a business, get in shape or send your kids to the best schools, you have to go through a PROCESS.
Say you want to start a business + be successful with it. You have to create a service or product to sell that solves a problem people will pay you for. You have to build your credibility, community, consistency and hire a business coach.
In other words, ð£ you canât cheat the process!
If youâre not willing to put in the TIME to go through the PROCESS, itâs not worth pursuing.
Your goal setting process should look similar to thisâŠ
1ïžâ£Set a specific GOAL [i.e. I want to lose 15 pounds by Labor Day].
2ïžâ£PUT IT DOWN on paper - When you write it down, the goal becomes real
3ïžâ£Make a PLAN for achieving it [i.e. lose .7 pounds a day, which = 5 pounds per week for the next 3 weeks, by cutting out sugar, exercising for 20 minutes a day + drinking 80z of water a day]
4ïžâ£PUSH FORWARD and take action every day to achieve it.Â

If youâre exhausted and feeling like youâre running on fumes these days, know youâre not alone!
Itâs exhausting having to be âonâ all day.
âOnâ at work.
âOnâ at home.
âOnâ at your kids school.
âOnâ social media.
Giving and giving and giving until youâre empty!
Burnout is real! Iâve been there! I know how it feels to be so mentally exhausted that you donât even want to get out of bed to feed your own kids.
I also know that burn out comes from saying YES to all these things at home, at work, in your business, at church, at your children school, but not having the time to follow through on what you say youâre going to do. So, all your YESâs are just there every single day demanding your time and energy.
Do you plan and prioritize your time? If not, youâll get caught up assuming you have way more time than you do. ð

Time is fixed!
Everyone gets the same 24 hours in a day, so you CANNOT âmakeâ more to get more done.
The truth is, something has to go!
What you CAN do is âtakeâ control of those cracks of time that youâre currently spending on things that arenât generating the results you want [i.e. sleeping in, scrolling through social media, checking emails, cleaning], and take advantage of that time to work on what you want for yourself.
Every time you fail to follow-through on a commitment, donât complete a project, or forget to return a call, you fall behind on your goal.
YOU are the only one who can give yourself permission to take control of your time and energy.
So what can you do?

But, itâs not enough to just pull out your planner and write âðœ down your goals.

This time last weekend, I flew out to LEAVING MY MARK in Michigan, to spend the evening being poured into by a group of women who are powerfully walking in their purpose. ððœððœððœ
Meeting @kyonathelawyer in person and listening to the experiences of her lineup of speakers [who were so humble ððœ], made me realize the importance of time investment.
I invested my time and money to listen to the stories of top-tier women entrepreneurs and learn about the path they took to get where they are today. I laughed ð ⊠I cried ð and I prayed ððœ . I took away strategies that will help me in my life and business. They blessed the women in that room and it was worth every minute!

Our most recent investment was in a Fifth Wheel RV, which we purchased in CASH! ðµ We put approx $6k into the project, the majority of which went into running a new electrical line [$3,300] and painting [$1,100]. We had 2 painters who quoted us over $2,000 and another painter who just walked off the job. ð€Šðœââïž
We listed the RV on June 2nd, for a minimum of $147/night. Within 2 days of being listed, the RV was fully booked for the next 2 months.
Thatâs an ROI of about 147% in two months. In a year, thatâs enough to pay for 2 of our childrenâs tuition.

I come across coaches daily that love what they do, but their income is inconsistent because they canât consistently close the deal with clients.
They struggle with the feast and famine syndrome.
The problem is, too many coaches see coaching as a side hustle. ð¯ So, they just practice coaching because itâs their passion.
But, when those bills begin to accumulate ð³ and reality hits... then the struggle begins!
Understanding the distinction between building a side business versus side hustle, is what differentiates coaches who have a sustainable and profitable business from those who donât. ð€·ðœââïž

A Side Business is considered âpassive incomeâ because the business itself, which is separate from you the Coach, has systems in place that can be scaled up to deliver results and make you money ð°while you sleep... ðŽ [and without you having to be actively involved].

A Side Hustle is considered âactive incomeâ because you the Coach have to be present in order to earn your money. Without you, thereâs no coaching, which = no income. It wonât make you money while you sleep, but it will pay your bills while you work on building your business.
